S3 E15 Bringing up Baby

Mr. Stevenson finds an embarrassing photo of Josh as an even smaller kid, and Robbie & Allen talk about babies. Then the theme plays.

Miss String assigns a “baby”-raising project to the class. Robbie teams with Allen, and Hamilton teams up with Talia. Allen gets mad about having to raise a baby because Xelans do it differently. Talia gets mad because she finds Hamilton’s “parenting” very weird.

Josh gets moved to Robbie’s computer science class because he’s so good at it. Allen rocks the baby in the air with Xelan powers, which Robbie hates and gives him a parenting book, which Allen finds outdated.

As Robbie and Allen continue their “parenting”, they get mad at each other and Robbie brings the child to her room. Josh makes fun of her in the halls. Hamilton is very excited about his baby, and he gets mad that the baby was in Talia’s locker the whole time. Hamilton accidentally rips off the baby’s leg, which he freaks out about until Talia reattaches it. Josh and Talia get in an argument and she deletes what he’s working on.

Robbie and Allen almost make up until they both have plans for the day. They get mad at each other because of it, and Manfred shakes the baby. Talia is concerned about how weird Hamilton is with the baby. Manfred puts the baby in the pod. Josh hacks into Talia’s grades, but Allen is too mad to engage with him.

Allen briefly looks for the baby, and quickly gives up. The baby comes to life, Xelan style. Robbie and Allen realize the baby is nowhere to be found and they freak out. Josh’s computer science plan ends up affecting everyone but Josh, which gives his trick away and they all hate him.

Robbie and Allen argue about the baby at home until they see the baby is trashing the house, and they work together to catch it.
Allen and Robbie clean up before the dad gets home while the baby is trapped in a laundry bin. Allen and Robbie then become friends again, and the baby runs out of Xelan energy. Manfred comes in, identifies the baby, and Robbie & Allen laugh.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
