S3 E10 Out on a Limb

The main 3 are in the attic and Josh talks about this person he’s talking to online called “PennyHenny”. Josh gets caught in one of the many traps he set in the attic, and the theme song plays.

Josh accidentally gives too much info to PennyHenny, who turns out to be Phil Berg.
Josh watches Phil Berg’s preschool show for entertainment and is about to turn it off until Phil talks about Trycloid crystals. Plato rollerblades in the house and gives Josh a hard time about how he will trust strangers but can’t hang out with his friends.

Plato and Josh watch Watch the Skies and they decide to prank Phil Berg by telling him that an “alien species” that says “hello how are you” as something that sounds like “oh look what a geek I am.”

Allen and Robbie talk about their project on the town history, where Allen talks about how he wants to interview someone 800 years old. It turns out to be a tree, which is about to be cut down to make room for a library Mr. Stevenson is working on.

The two organize to save the tree. Robbie and Allen have an argument with Mr. Stevenson which doesn’t blow up. At first, Robbie declines because she doesn’t want to go against her father, but she gives in after Allen introduces her to the tree.

Allen arranges a city council meeting with the mayor to save the tree. In the meeting, Allen makes his points, but he starts floating and Robbie has to take over. The council and the main 2 make a compromise. They agree to build the library around the tree.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
