S2 E6 Two For The Road
The Delport High wrestling team goes over chaperoning, and Allen offers to have Manfred chaperone after no one else offers. On their walk home from school, Allen asks Robbie for advice on what makes a good father. Allen asks Mr. Stevenson too, who accidentally burns himself and gets mad at Josh for leaving his stuff in the kitchen. Mr. Stevenson goes into the attic and says that he has to sell all the non-essentials.
Allen energizes Manfred and brings him on the bus for the wrestling match. A girl named Rain talks to Mr. Stevenson about Josh’s yard sale junk. She goes into the attic, puts her head into the pod, and takes it with her. The boys fool around on the bus. Mr. Stevenson says that he sold Rain the pod, which he thinks is a tuba. Manfred confronts Moose, which embarrasses Allen.
The 2 siblings see that Rain is selling tickets to go inside the pod. As the team leaves the park on bus, Moose tells the coach that everyone is on board, even though he knows Allen and Manfred aren’t there. Allen and Manfred walk to the tournament until they see a car which Allen uses Xelan powers on to activate. Mr. Stevenson is unable to sell his junk to the junk dealer.
The team’s antics on the bus causes it to crash and live wires fall down, electrifying the bus. Josh tries to sell Rain a Michael Jordan basketball which is probably fake, and he tries to sell his other stuff to her, including Robbie, which doesn’t work. Allen tries to use Xelan powers to deactivate the wires and save the team, but it doesn’t work, but Manfred does it & saves the day just before Moose could have been killed.
Robbie gets her money back from her dad to buy back the “tuba”, but it doesn’t work. Josh has to give Rain his video game to get back the pod, which Josh doesn’t like for some reason (he should realize saving Allen is more important than any video game).
The team drives back home from the game and Allen tells Manfred he appreciates him.
