S2 E3 Haunted

The show starts with a guitar version of the theme, which I personally liked.

The plot starts with Josh telling Allen about a ghost in Delport. He hides in his pod until Robbie comes to the attic and talks Allen out of being scared. Shaw examines Phil Berg. Josh and Allen watch a scary movie while Josh shows Allen his machine which deals with ghosts.

The next day, Mr. Stevenson asks Josh to help him with the house’s electrical wiring, but he passes and asks him to get Robbie to do it instead. Robbie doesn’t want to do it at first, but she gets worried about her dad being in the attic alone, so she agrees to do it. Josh and Allen go into the haunted house. They hear thumping and Allen sees a ghost. As they’re wiring electronics, Robbie and Mr. Stevenson talk about her time in school.

The dad notices that the mannequin in the room looks like Manfred and asks Robbie about it. Josh comes into the attic, saying that Allen went missing and that he needs her help. Allen talks to the ghost and the ghost tries to kill him. Shaw interrogates Phil Berg. When the 2 siblings find Allen in the haunted house, they find that the ghost is just a “friendly” alien who wants to go home. Mr. Stevenson puts his head into the pod.

The main 3 help the alien rebuild her ship, but Allen finds out she’s evil and tries to stop her. Shaw says Phil Berg may have identified Trycloids. Robbie and Josh fight about Allen and later, Robbie distracts the alien and steals her gun. Josh shoots the ship’s timer and the alien is forced to leave early, without her hostages. Phil Berg accidentally vaporizes the alien’s spaceship with a button at ARC HQ. The main 3 reflect on their day in the kitchen until they see that
Mr. Stevenson is still in the pod and they take him out.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
