S2 E2 Day of The Beagle

The Stevensons have breakfast and the dad can’t have any pancakes because he’s on a diet, so he grounds the kids. Grandma Stevenson comes over and brings her beagle. When Allen comes downstairs, he’s scared of the dog. At school, Robbie complains about her photography program.

In the attic, Allen explains to Josh about the danger of beagles in outer space.

Robbie gets an A- for her photography project and she’s happy about it because she never got a grade so high in her life (which is crazy to me). Josh tries to have Allen get over his dog fear by taking the dog on a walk. At the park, Robbie and her 2 friends take photos. Josh washes the dog until it starts talking to him.

In the attic, Josh and Allen come up with ways to neutralize the dog. Robbie and her friends go to school on a weekend and see their photos. Erika didn’t have any of her photos on the wall, so she gets upset.
Robbie decides to take a bunch of photos for the day with her friends, skipping on their original plans to hang out. Mr. Stevenson exercises and talks to his mom.

Josh and Allen go after the dog in the neighborhood until he makes it to the park, where he chases Josh. Allen explains to Robbie that the dog is possessed by an evil alien and they go after the dog. The dog corners Josh until Robbie Heimlich maneuvers the alien out of him. The main 3 build a Xelan powered rocket into the sky from the attic to launch the alien into outer space. Robbie congratulates Erika on the phone for her photo of her saving the dog and the Grandma leaves. Josh is still scared of the dog.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
