S1 E6 The Visit

Robbie does track practice. Allen jumps around on a mat and jumps into sprinklers when they start working. Josh plays video games at home until Allen talks to him. Mrs. Stevenson comes to the door and Robbie introduces her to Allen. Josh leaves the house when he hears Allen do another Xelan sneeze.

Allen turns out to be sick because his internal energy is off. Allen’s temperature is so high that the thermometer breaks. Robbie talks to her mom on the beach about school, track, surfing and jewelry. They race each other. In the attic, Josh watches over Allen. Mrs. Stevenson shares her concerns about Robbie’s busy schedule until Robbie and Josh wake up and watch TV with their parents.

Allen gets cold on the rooftop while he watches the stars alone. Robbie talks to her mom about her schedule until Josh shows up, saying that Allen has shrunk. After Allen sneezes again, he goes into energy ball form. Robbie gets him back to normal size with a hairdryer. Robbie tells Allen that she hasn’t talked with her mom yet about how she feels.

Mrs. Stevenson tells Robbie that she talked with her coach about varsity, and that the coach agreed with her and not Robbie.
Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson talk about her at home. Josh watches the pod until Robbie takes over watching Allen. When she wakes up, she sees that Allen is dehydrated. Mrs. Stevenson complains to her ex-husband about not seeing either of them again before she leaves.

Josh and Robbie bike Allen to the ocean to rehydrate him, which takes away from her track time. The two kids think they lost Allen until he shows up back in human form from the water. The two parents find the kids at the beach, and Mr. Stevenson tells her that her mom delayed her flight to watch Robbie at track. Mrs. Stevenson and Robbie make up. Allen plays in the water as the whole family watches.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
