S1 E11 Rescue

 Phil Berg goes alien hunting on the beach, and goes after an old lady. He trips and falls on a cliff. Mrs. Stevenson offers to over the house for a few days while he’s on a business trip. A storm comes to Delport. Robbie tries to get Erika to be a lifeguard with her. Allen talks to Josh in the attic about a way to get home. Mrs. Stevenson wants to clean the attic, but Josh talks her out of it.


An alien attacks the junk yard guy and steal the stone Allen is looking for a stone to help him get home. Josh and Allen go looking for the alien who took the stone at the beach. Robbie, her mom and Erika eat dinner during the storm. Josh and Allen get some equipment from the attic to help them look, and go into a Trycloid lair on the beach.
Josh gets the map but gets stuck in Trycloid goo.

The Trycloid shape shifts into a human and attacks Josh. Phil Berg looks around the beach for signs of alien life. Robbie and Erika take more lifeguard lessons. After exposing his identify, the Trycloid goes after Allen, who has the map, throughout the beach. The alien is about to go after Allen, but is confronted by Phil Berg who wants to catch him. Robbie and Erika don’t pass their lifeguard qualifications.

Josh and Allen leave the lair. At the beach, Robbie and Erika talk to their mom about them not getting picked. Robbie rescues a man, who everyone finds out is Phil Berg. She gets the job as lifeguard.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
