S1 E1 Arrival

A police officer goes to a suspicious location. Alien hunter Phil Berg spies on the call. Something goes wrong in Phil’s hideout and he gets electrocuted. The police officer reports aliens, who don’t try to hurt him.
Robbie and her dad talk, and Josh mentions to Robbie that there are a few UFO sightings. Mr. Stevenson plans on hanging out with Josh.

The alien takes note of behavior of kids from a high school. Robbie talks about her school project with her friend Latanya.
Robbie is invited to a surf thing, but says she has to watch over Josh. The alien is revealed to be Allen, who is great at playing basketball.

After being challenged to a game, Allen ends up repeating all the mean things he heard from the other students.
Allen gets in trouble with the vice principal, but he runs away when she asks his name.

Phil Berg is looking for alien stuff, but gets chased by a cow. A vicious dog goes after Robbie and Allen, but Allen comforts the dog. Robbie insults him and calls him an idiot, and just as Josh invites Allen to the house, he disappears.

Josh tries to build a robot, but it fails every time. Allen appears out of nowhere and gets the robot to work using Xelan powers, which sends shockwaves throughout the entire room.
Allen demonstrates his power by showing his ability to read books with touch.

Robbie and Josh watch Phil Berg’s show on TV when they’re not supposed to. Robbie thinks the show is stupid, but Josh likes it.
Allen asks for help from Robbie and Josh and they agree. Allen repairs the broken car in the yard. He goes to a barn and looks for clues, without Robbie and Josh’s help.

Robbie and Josh talk, and Robbie thinks he’s normal but Josh convinces him otherwise. Phil Berg gets in the barn, looking for alien life. He tries to trap Allen by promising to send him home, but he quickly gives up the act. He sends Phil Berg flying, and Robbie drives the car into the barn.
Robbie sees his alien form.

Allen talks to Josh and Robbie and offers to turn himself into the authorities, but Robbie and Josh offer to cover for him and watch him. Allen likes the idea of this new friendship. Robbie gets a phone call from her mom, who she finds out isn’t coming.
The dad comes in and talks to the two.
Robbie talks to Allen in the front yard and they talk about how they’re glad to talk to each other. She decides to name her new friend “Allen Strange”.

My Allen Strange Story + Show Review

I was born during the original run of the show, so I never had a chance to watch it on TV, and I was a huge fan of Nickelodeon as a kid, but from 11 1/2 and-a-half to 21-and-a-half I didn’t watch it.  I got back into Nick thanks to Drake & Josh, and I haven’t looked back since.  Aside from Allen Strange, I watch Drake & Josh and Double Dare pretty regularly and sometimes iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush, Legends of the Hidden Temple and Kenan & Kel when it comes to Nick. I didn’t watch Allen Strange until 2025 because the a lot of the series (including the finale) was lost media and I didn’t want to watch a show with missing episodes, especially if I had no way of knowing how the series was going to end. I made this blog to one, show my appreciation for this great show and two, serve as an archive for the show if it ever gets taken down again. S3 E17 Life of the Party

Allen eats pop rocks with soda, and bubbles of his head form Xelan style. Then the theme plays. Josh needs someone to watch him during Robbie’s track thing, so Allen gets Manfred. They get Mr. Stevenson’s credit card. On the walk home from school, Josh talks to Plato while Hamilton gets nervous when Allen brings up his birthday. Josh talks about throwing a party, which Allen thinks would be good for Hamilton. At home, Manfred blocks the TV screen from Josh and Allen’s video game. After Josh suggests that Manfred try on Mr. Stevenson’s clothes, him and Allen order food from a bunch of places. Mr. Stevenson calls Manfred and he lectures the two boys after they make a mess and are late for school. Allen and Josh hang out with Plato as Josh prepares his gaming thumb. Hamilton comes to the house and is surprised with a birthday cake, which brings back PTSD of a house fire to him and he freaks out. Manfred quickly ends the party, but more people come anyway. Character Review: Robbie Stevenson

  Robbie is a 15 year old girl played by the obscure actress Erin J. Dean.  She’s a surfer, she’s on the track team and she also makes jewelry. Supposedly she has bad grades on the show, to the extent that she was excited to get a B in one episode (I don’t remember which one) because she had never gotten a grade that high in her life, and she was 15. I didn’t see her as stupid. Robbie may not always get along with her brother Josh, and sometimes even Allen, but they always find their way back to each other. The friendship between Robbie and Allen was so close that I was surprised that they didn’t kiss by the end of the show like Aang and Katara did in Avatar’s finale. Robbie has her angry moments and she can usually win an argument, but she’s usually calm and when she’s calm, she’s a friendly and pleasant person. 95% of her actions are on the side of good, and when they aren’t, they’re usually not too bad to begin with.
